THE TURRACHER HÖHE
In the Zirbenhütte, a spacious alpine chalet, 8 - 10 people can live together stress-free in four bedrooms, separated from the living area. You can really relax in the private sauna. Two satellite TV systems entertain everyone who wants to relax from skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, hiking, etc. The vehicles are safely parked in their own carport, which can be reached without problems even in heavy snowfall.
The Turracher Höhe has always been known for its guaranteed snow, as the slopes of the ski area on the border between Carinthia and Styria reach up to 2,205 metres above sea level.
Thanks to the full snow-making facilities on all the slopes, snow can also be added if necessary. Today, the Turracher Höhe is one of the most attractive ski resorts in Austria in terms of the modernity of the lifts, the quality of the pistes and the efficiency of the snow-making facilities. But the absolute speciality of the Turracher Höhe are the many "little sensations" that make the area an outstanding ski centre.

SUMMER ON THE TURRACH
When the sun has turned the last snow into water, the hiking season begins on the Turracher Höhe. During the following months, the meadows recover from the strenuous winter season. The THREE SEAS Hike not only stimulates the senses, but also offers an extensive range of mushrooms and berries.
Nordic walking is reminiscent of cross-country skiing in winter... Hikes on the Nockberge mountains provide the strength and stamina for reaching personal summit victories.
For the really fast ones, the Nocky Flitzer is recommended. The spectacular alpine roller coaster runs for 1.6 km over alpine meadows and through pine forests. Cutting curves, roundabouts and wave tracks provide the necessary heart palpitations.
